An English modernist artist and sculptor
A.H. Gerrard was head of the sculpture department at the Slade School of Fine Art from 1925 and professor of sculpture there from 1949 to 1968, where he taught a number of renowned sculptors.
Katherine Leigh Pemberton

An English modernist artist.
K. Leigh-Pemberton met A.H. Gerrard in 1920 whilst they were students at the Slade. She was six years older and studying fine art under Professor Tonks and Wilson Steer, and he was one year into his studies concentrating on drawing and engraving.
